Testing protocols
A recent study by Flowerwatch included five varieties of Phalaenopsis (yellow, white, pink, purple and special) alongside a matching set of plants treated with Vidre+ TM technology. Study details include:
-
Upon arrival Vidre+ TM labels were applied inside the sleeve at just under the level of the flowers.
-
Both groups of plants were stored for 3 days in a box at 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit) followed by a Vidre+ TM exposure overnight for about 12 hours.
-
The plants were then moved to a shelf life simulation for 14 days.
-
The shelf life environment included 50-70% relative humidity, an average temperature of 20 degrees Celsius and twelve hours of darkness and then daylight.
